Do YOU Want A 4th Mummy Movie?

***THERE'S SPOILERS FOR THE 3RD MUMMY, SO IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE 3RD MUMMY MOVIE BEWARE THERE ARE SPOILERS***

There is a rumor going around that the fourth "Mummy" movie will be called "The Mummy: Rise Of The Aztec." With the 3rd movie making more than 400 million there's no doubt their planning on making a 4th.

"The third film in the adventure series grossed an estimated $59.5 million, substantially outpacing comparable openings for 1999's "The Mummy" ($16.7 million) and 2001's "The Mummy Returns" ($21.5 million) in the same markets." [credit goes to www.reuters.com]

Rob Cohen mentioned in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor's commentary that if the 3rd Mummy did well that they were thinking of making a sequel revolving around Jonathan's Diamond having more power than he knows & Ricks Immortality. [no i did not steal this quote, its mine, click here for my fan page]

Plus for those of you who have seen The Mummy 3 then you know at the end Jonathan, with his precious diamond leaves his bar and moves to Peru. Then as the credits start to come on it states "Soon after, Mummies were found in Peru." That's another hint that their planning to make a 4th Mummy movie, and I think that's where people got the idea for the Aztec mummies.

Even before "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" officially came out in theaters there was already talk about a 4th Mummy movie! For instance if you checked out the link, the date for that post was March 11, 2008. The Mummy 3 came out on August 1, 2008.
